Denver Mayor Michael Hancock claimed this week that an unspecified injury kept him from holding up his end of a friendly bet with Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. When the Ravens beat the Broncos last week, Hancock was slated to perform Ray Lewisâ famous pregame dance. The Denver Mayor did not default on the bet but we have still yet to see the dance. The substitute for the dance showed up in the Baltimore Mayorâs office by Thursday according to the Baltimore Sun, a box of dry aged rib-eye from Lombardi Brotherâs Meats.
In lieu of being physically capable to do the Ray Lewis dance, Mayor Hancock sent quality steaks to Mayor Rawlings-Blake. On Saturday, Rawlings-Blake kept the spirit of giving and the spirit of the bet alive when she gave the steaks to Baltimore Fire Department, Engine Company 52. Do not worry, the gift from the Mayor to the fire department was pre-approved by the local union president. Company 52 received the steaks because they represent Ray Lewis both nume...

Stories to focus on besides Harbowl and Ray Lewis (and why those 2 stories arenât that interesting)
Last year, after the Eagles and Falcons seasons went approximately nowhere, I was one of the ones rooting for a Harbowl. The thought of two teams with physical defenses playing each other was too tempting for me to resist. This year, I get my wish, although Iâm less happy about it because this was supposed to be my Falconsâ year. But this year the matchup is also more exciting...

Remember Anna Burns Welker? Sheâs Wes Welkerâs wife and not a big fan of Ray Lewis, according to a Facebook status update she dropped last night after the Ravens won the AFC Championship and posted on The Big Lead.

Lookinâ Good, Ravens Maniac
A man with the Twitter handle @RavenManiac is swept up with the fever that only the playoffs and Ray Lewisâ farewell to bionic arms can bring. With only a little hair dye, a clipper and some bath salts, you too can be a Ravens Maniac with a bird face for a skull.
I suppose itâs also possible heâs a big fan of the old âBattle of the Planetsâ cartoon series. I have my doubts...
Bill Belichick is the reason Ray Lewis ended up with the Ravens
In his Friday 10 Spot, ESPNâs Adam Schefter did a great job of breaking down how if it wasnât for Patriotsâ head coach Bill Belichick, linebacker Ray Lewis wouldnât have been drafted  by the Ravens.
Belichick was the Brownsâ head coach in 1995, when Cleveland traded a No. 1 pick to San Francisco in exchange for several picks. The 49ers used the 10th overall pick, which...

Baltimore Police Department Makes Tribute Video To The Ravens
This video from the Baltimore Police Department contains some pretty funny stuff. They made a tribute video with a woman cop rapping, and some pretty bad Ray Lewis dancing impressions. Things are heating up for the match-up on Sunday night between the Ravens and the Patriots. First we had the billboard counting down to Ray Lewis' retirement party. Now Baltimore cops are...
Steve Bisciotti Is Super Creepy
Thatâs a very sensual rub the Ravens owner gave to Ray Lewisâ stabbing arm during the post-game interviews. Downright creepy to be honest. Fitting, since Steve Bisciotti has a creepy guy haircut. Maybe the rub was because Ray-Ray was wearing an Art Modell shirt after the game. Bisciotti was feeling a little neglected with all the love being shown to the dead guy who shanghaied...

Just What 2013 Needed: A âCall Me Maybeâ Parody

Super Bowl Betting: Odds favor 49ers over Ravens
If anyone thinks the Baltimore Ravens feel slighted by being underdogs on the Super Bowl odds menu, think again.
Baltimore just won outright on the road as a 9-point underdog at Denver and then as an 8-point underdog at New England. Getting 4.5 points (bet down to 4 points early in the week according to the NFL odds menu at OddsShark.com) just makes it easier.
