The Baltimore Ravens are reportedly looking to add a veteran backup quarterback as teams make their final roster cuts this afternoon. Baltimore was going to ride into the 2011 regular season with rookie QB Tyrod Taylor backing up Joe Flacco. However, Taylor suffered an injury to his non-throwing shoulder in the Ravens preseason finale against the Atlanta Falcons. Taylor told reporters that he believes he should be ready next week when the Ravens host divisional opponent, the Pittsburgh Steelers. The rookie signal caller told reporters, “It feels the same or a little less. It’s more so just sore. The pain should go away. It’s soreness. The range of motion is pretty good. It’s just sore right now”. The third string quarterback on the ravens roster is Hunter Cantwell.
