But after receiving a contract offer from the Houston Texans after a lengthy visit, rumor has it that he is returning to Ozzie Newsome to see if his only employer at this level in his career will help him to retire as a Raven. The Texans spared no expense in recruiting the services of Reed, even sending the private jet of team owner Bob McNair to his home in Atlanta to fly him to Reliant Stadium in Houston for the pitch. Things seemed to progress well as he even stayed the night in Houston and visited the Houston night scene with former college teammates Andre Johnson and Chris Myers.
