InGameNow:
The Baltimore Ravens will start rookie Joe Flacco at quarterback in their opener on Sunday against Cincinnati.
Flacco (no not Shane Falco), the 18th pick overall, will launch his NFL career against the Cincinnati Bengals. There is a chance the two other quarterbacks competing for the job, Troy Smith and Kyle Boller, both will not be available as backups.
The big question is will Flacco be able to match Shane's impressive numbers in order to lead the Ravens to the playoffs. Shane did it with a rag tag bunch of losers. I see no reason why Flacco and his bunch of Thugs can't make a bid at the playoffs this year. The key is offensive and making sure the young guy has time in the pocket to throw the ball.
