Linebacker Barrett Ruud has been placed on season-ending injured reserve with his groin injury, according to John Glennon of the Tennessean. Fantasy Spin: Ruud was not a strong fit for Tennessees defense at middle linebacker after leaving Tampa Bay, and the impending free agent will likely be playing for yet another team in 2012. Rookie Colin McCarthy averages 8.5 tackles over the last five battles, and his IDP stock looks to remain elevated for the remainder of the campaign with Ruud out of service for good.
