It’s good to see Tebow-mania is having a positive effect on the Gang Green — at least for now.

During an open media session Wednesday, All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis, raved about Tim Tebow, calling the do-it-all backup a “born leader” and gifted athlete.

“He’s a born leader,” Revis said, via the NY Daily News. “He really is. He’s a born leader. Very few athletes the gift that he has. He tries to lead by example all the time and he tries to be positive, which is awesome. I think that results (in) his success on the field. He came in with Denver and did unbelievable. And now he’s with us. We’re happy. We’re excited for him. We’re happy (that) he’ll bring his leadership qualities to this team.”

Bart Scott, on the other hand, was true to his nature and, unsurprisingly, engaged in some playful banter. When Tebow recently suggested to Scott that he should soak himself in a cold tub, the veteran linebacker responded by asking Tebow to baptize him.

That was about all the media got out of Scott, who last greeted them with an “inappropriate and unacceptable” one-finger salute. He did have one last comment …

“Yes, I love Tebow,” Scott said as he walked out.

With questions surrounding his future continuing to linger, Scott is doing his best to enjoy the camaraderie while he still, you know, can.
