Hall of Fame quarterback Bart Starr reportedly collapsed Tuesday as he was giving a speech at a Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority conference.  Starr, 78, was the keynote speaker at the conference and spoke for 45 minutes, but near the end of his speech he paused for about 15 to 20 seconds and then collapsed on stage. Starr sat up on his own and said he was fine.  He left the convention center with his wife, Cherry, after medical personnel evaluated him briefly.    Starr led the Green Bay Packers to six divisional titles, five National Football Championships and two Super Bowls in the 1960s.

Charles Woodson was back at practice on a limited basis Wednesday, and Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy says the defensive back's return from a broken collarbone is ''getting close.'' Woodson has missed the last five games after breaking his collarbone against St. Louis. Defensive coordinator Dom Capers said Monday that the perennial Pro Bowler had been...

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers can’t get over loss to Seattle: “You can’t help but think about it”

Who said that not one call changes a season? Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers said that the week 3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks could have a huge impact on where Green Bay plays in the playoffs, and to them it still isn’t fair.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Is Pretty Excited That The Seahawks Beat The Bears

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers couldn’t be more excited that the Seattle Seahawks rallied back to beat the Chicago Bears 23-17 on Sunday. Considering it was the same Seahawks team that beat the Packers on Monday Night Football earlier this season on a phantom touchdown catch during the replacement referee era. With the Bears loss and the Packers win over the Vikings...

Packers' Woodson expected to be back soon

Green Bay Packers defensive back Charles Woodson, who has been out six weeks with a broken collarbone, is likely to return next week, and conceivably could play this week against the Lions, coach Mike McCarthy said Monday, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "Charles is probably, I would think maybe next week (against Chicago) would be my guess there," McCarthy...

Aaron Rodgers Says The Packers Are Still Discussing Hail Mary Loss To Seahawks

Time goes so fast when you’re having fun and things all going according to plan. Just think it was close to 10 weeks ago that we were dealing with replacement referee blunders and possibly the biggest blunder of all time. Aaron Rodgers Admits Packers Still Can’t Get Over Controversial Loss to Seahawks

Since their controversial Monday Night Football loss to the Seahawks in Week 3, the Green Bay Packers have been on a tear. But even with the terrific turnaround, Rodgers and his teammates still can’t get over the memorable “Fail Mary” pass...

Detroit won't be an easy out for the Packers

This Sunday night, the Green Bay Packers host the Detroit Lions in a game that looks far simpler on paper than it will likely play out. The Lions have just four wins under their belt, while the Packers lead the NFC North with an 8-4 record. Having only won the four games, it's somewhat surprising that NFL football odds (click to view) only have the Lions as a one touchdown...

Muy Frio: Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan was on fire for most of the season. He had 17 points or more in 7 out of 8 games this season, including games of 31, 21, 24, 23, and 26. He has been a must start fantasy option until the last 3 weeks, where his production has fallen off big time. In the last 3 games, he has thrown only 2 TDs vs 6 INTs. Ryan is only averaging 9 points per contest which included tilts vs...

With a win by the Packers (8-4) and a loss by Chicago (8-4), the Packers are tied for first place in the NFC North. The Vikings (6-6), meanwhile, are in deep trouble after losing for...
