The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers are currently fighting for first place in the NFC North division, but we must not let that get in the way of the real contest facing the teams this month. Which of the teams’ star quarterbacks rocks the better Movember mustache? Let’s take a look at the competing ‘staches and find out. Jay Cutler’s Eff You ‘Stache Cutler’s ‘stache is nothing out of the ordinary, but it is a solid ‘stache. It’s very well-defined, and the added 5 o’clock shadow facial hair is a great addition that adds more character to the look. The ‘stache makes Cutler look more intimidating, which he’ll need with the type of offensive line he has in front of him. But what makes Cutler’s ‘stache so awesome is how natural it looks on him. Cutler told Waddle and Silvy on “The Jay Cutler Show” his mustache wasn’t going to look pretty, but I don’t see anything ugly about it. Rating: 4 out of 5 Aaron Rodgers’ I-Love-Amanda-Lawson ‘Stache Aaron Rodgers is no newbie to growing mustaches for Movember. There was the creepy ‘stache that made him look like a pornstar. The following year Rodgers moved to a more slapstick look, showcasing a handlebars mustache. But this year Rodgers opted for a more normal ‘stache, and I’m a little disappointed in that. The ‘stache is still pretty awesome with all the mandatory qualities to be called a worthy Movember ‘stache, but it lacks any personality, which is odd coming from Rodgers, usually a friendly and entertaining character. Score: 3 out of 5  Which ‘stache do you think is better? Green Bay Packers: How the injuries have exposed their flaws

The Green Bay Packers got beat fair and square Sunday night against the New York Giants.  The Giants were just the better team in every aspect and they really brought to light some of the areas the Packers are lacking because of injuries to star players. The first thing is obviously the offensive line.  Aaron Rodgers was sacked five times Sunday night and was constantly getting...

Chicago Bears back on track

The Chicago Bears got back on track Sunday with a 28 – 10 win over the Vikings. After losing two weeks in a row, all units of the Bears showed solid coordination and smooth execution. Cutler’s return clearly had a positive impact. The offensive line only gave up one sack and was well synchronized on the big plays. Cutler connected with Marshall early, but both Bush and Bennett...

Cutler recovered from concussion

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is starting Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings after missing a game because of a concussion. Cutler was limited in practice this week. He left the game against Houston two weeks ago after a helmet-to-helmet hit by the Texans' Tim Dobbins and did not make the trip to San Francisco, where the Bears were blown out on Monday. Vikings receiver Percy...

Aaron Rodgers Comes Out of the Blanket, Reveals Self as Child

In a surprise move of the 2012 NFL season, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has finally come to terms with his own body and made a sports-media shattering announcement. He has finally come out of the blanket and revealed himself to be a 5 year old boy, which actually explains a whole lot. "I just felt it was time," he said while eating a Pop Tart at a recent...

Jay Cutler and the unholy power of "The Narrative"

"It doesn't mean anything, it's just something." Those were the actual words NFL Countdown's Tom Jackson used to describe his displeasure with Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler walking into Soldier Field Sunday morning without appearing to talk to someone within ESPN's camera shot.  Jay Cutler has been criticized for a galaxy's worth of things...

Jay Cutler Is Everything the Bears Are Looking for in a Quarterback, Which Doesn’t Need to Be Saying Much

It’s easy to dislike Jay Cutler. He, the Chicago quarterback of perpetual grumpiness (although Smokin’ Jay Cutler was magical), completely great or completely terrible performances, and just enough talent and underachieving to make someone unhappy, has plenty of critics. This year, he’s been at it again. He feuded with coaches on the sideline. He called out teammates (also...

Aaron Rodgers' Younger Brother Has Made A Name For Himself

Jordan Rodgers has been primarily known for being the younger brother of Aaron Rodgers.  Aaron really doesn't need an introduction as he is a winning NFL Super Bowl quarterback and a League MVP.   Jordan Rodgers is the starting quarterback for the Vanderbilt Commodores.  He is a fifth year senior as he has followed a similar path as Aaron by playing quarterback at Butte...

Packers not using injuries as an excuse

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the Green Bay Packers have heard the comparisons between this season and their run to the Super Bowl title in 2010 in regard to the way the injuries have piled up. Rodgers, the league's highest-rated quarterback this season, has been through this before. The media reminds him of that, but he calls this a "different team...

Bears 28, Vikings 10

CHICAGO -- On the Bears' first two offensive plays against Minnesota on Sunday, quarterback Jay Cutler and running back Matt Forte botched a handoff for a lost fumble, and Cutler tripped over a teammate and sacked himself for a five-yard loss. But the Vikings couldn't do much with the opportunities, and Cutler then unleashed an effective short passing game, the even more...

Giants Snap Packers' Win Streak in Big Way

With Eli Manning throwing three touchdown passes and Aaron Rodgers getting sacked five times, the Giants throttled the Packers 38-10 on Sunday night. The loss snapped Green Bay's five-game winning streak.
