Does Chan Gailey take the blame for the Bills' free-fall?I’ve been a Bills fan since I was four years old. Through the first five weeks of the NFL season, we found ourselves wondering if it would really be possible for teams like the Bills, Lions, and 49ers to all make the playoffs. Since then San Francisco has been cruising to a No. 1 seed, the Lions have stumbled but still have a chance, and the [...]
Bills head coach Chan Gailey was critical of his decision to put Andy Levitre at center to play his third position in five weeks on Buffalo’s offensive line Sunday. In the wake of accepting blame Gailey also indicated that Kraig Urbik is likely to man center next Sunday against the Jets.
“That’s probably the direction we’re going to have to go from here on out,” said Gailey...

MIAMI -- Well, it just keeps getting worse. The Bills got humiliated by the Dolphins here today, 35-8, dropping their third straight to fall to 5-5 on the season. That's three consecutive blowouts by a combined score of 106-26. It's no longer a question of whether they'll make the playoffs, but whether they'll win another game. They might be the worst team in the...
Buffalo’s defense the past two weeks has surrendered a completion percentage of almost 80 percent (79.6%) as Mark Sanchez and Tony Romo combined to go 43-54 passing. On the season the Bills are giving up a completion percentage of 65.7%. Chan Gailey offered his solutions for getting that figure down closer to the league average.
“You have to do a couple of things,” he said...
According to Paul Peck of WIVB-TV in Buffalo, Bills cornerback Terrance McGee is likely done for the season with a knee injury. In other Bills injury news, wide receiver Donald Jones will be out 3-6 weeks with an ankle injury and running back Fred Jackson’s x-ray’s were negative on his calf.
