Last weekend, Players View discussed the situation surrounding Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Ronde Barber’s proclamation that the team was planning on drafting LSU defensive back Morris Claiborne in the first round of this year’s draft.
Today those words were seemingly backed up by the rumor that the team was trying to move starting cornerback Aqib Talib for draft picks.
New coach new attitude, and that’s the way it should be when you get a new leader. Clearly new head coach Greg Schiano is not willing to put up with any of the drama from the past teams, and therefore, has put Talib on the trading block.
Talib has a huge amount of potential, but just like a lot of potential great players in the NFL, their off-the-field issues stop their growth...
According to Scott Reynolds of the PewterReport.com, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to trade troubled cornerback Aqib Talib.
Right now there hasn’t been indication as to what type pf compensation the Bucs are looking for in return for Talib. I would think they’re looking for some draft picks in return, possibly at least a second round pick.
One thing that might keep teams...
The Chicago Bears have signed free agent guard Chilo Rachal, according to a tweet by Ian Rapoport earlier today.
Drafted in the 2nd round of the 2008 NFL draft by San Francisco, Rachal has spent his entire career with the 49ers until now. He participated in 55 out of a possible 64 games, starting in 38 of them.
The Bears are actively trying to shore up an offensive life that gave...

ESPN is citing Scott Reynolds’ report from the Pewter Report, which suggests that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are trying to trade troubled CB Aqib Talib. This should come...
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers inked two players at positions of need on Thursday after holding their voluntary workouts. RB Robert Hughes and S Ron Girault are the latest members of the Buccaneers. Both players entered the NFL as undrafted free agents.
Girault was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an UFA in 2008 and has also spent time with the New York Jets. The Buccaneers released...
No team uses the underdog/no respect stigma as a motivator better than the Chicago Bears under Lovie Smith. He's been brilliant in fostering an "us against the world" mentality. Sometimes it's manufactured and sometimes it's warranted, but this year it'll be hard to rally the troops around that particular battle cry.
Even after the Bears went to the NFC...
Last season we saw how important it is to have depth at every position. A few key injuries was all it took to turn what looked like a promising season into a disappointing one for the Bears. New general manager Phil Emery has been busy signing numerous players during this year's free agency period, and it's time to take a look at those signings and what the added depth...
