The Chicago Bears announced that they have agreed to terms with seventh round cornerback Greg McCoy. Financial details were not disclosed but as the 13th pick in the seventh round, McCoy's four-year contract is expected to be worth $2.16 million and include a signing bonus of just over $60,000. McCoy had 93 tackles, seven interceptions and 17 passes defensed during his 52-game career at TCU. The 5-foot-10, 181-pound McCoy also returned kicks, averaging 32.0 yards and scoring three touchdowns on 47 returns in his career. Last season, McCoy averaged a Mountain West Conference-best 30.6 yards and returned two kicks for touchdowns, earning first-team All-Mountain West honors for his return ability.
