Cornerback Charles Tillman (knee) practice on a limited basis Friday after not practicing Wednesday and Thursday. He is listed as questionable. "He worked today," said Bears coach Marc Trestman after practice. "He worked about half the reps. We'll leave it up to Charles and our trainers to see where he is. We're optimistic. But we don't know right now. That's why he's listed the way he is." If Tillman is unable to play Sunday night, cornerback Zack Bowman would likely start in his place. Wide receiver Brandon Marshall (back), tight end Martellus Bennett (shoulder) and guard Kyle Long (back) all practiced fully Friday and listed as probable. Chicago Bears: Bears starting to flex offensive muscles

Devin Hester is back, and the Chicago Bears are flying high When Chicago Bears return specialist Devin Hester was given a shot at wide receiver, he was mediocre at best. Granted, he did not have an offensive coordinator who utilized him correctly, but he was just not cut out for that position. For the life of me, I still can’t believe at one point he was our number one wideout...

Martellus Bennett: Marc Trestman reminds me of Willy Wonka

Chicago Bears tight end Martellus Bennett had some nice and rather unique words for his head coach Marc Trestman. “I think me and Coach Trestman are probably the only two people who understand each other,” Bennett said during an appearance on ESPN 1000, via the Chicago Tribune. “I always say Coach Trestman reminds me of the first Willy Wonka. Not the Johnny Depp one; the Johnny...

Chicago Bears: 2013 Week 3 NFL Power Rankings (#9)

Last week: 10 Beating the Vikings by 1 isn’t that impressive, but they did it despite losing the turnover battle, something that only happens 20.9% of the time. The NFC is tough, but the Bears have a chance to be right in the playoff hunt. They aren’t dominating the turnover battle like they were last year, as could be expected, but they have an improved offense thanks to a very...

Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari guest star on “The League”

“The League” has done a fantastic job getting big name guest stars to come on their show the past few years and this week they had Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and his wife Kristin Cavallari.  I was surprised that Cutler looked so comfortable and performed so well on TV, especially because most of “The League” is unscripted.  The episode itself was hysterical and...

Martellus Bennett says his coach reminds him of Willy Wonka

Chicago Bears wide receiver Martellus Bennett paid his head coach, Marc Trestman, a relatively odd and interesting compliment on Tuesday, likening Trestman to Willy Wonka, specifically the Willy Wonka portrayed by Gene Wilder in the 1971 film. "I always say Coach Trestman reminds me of the first Willy Wonka. Not the Johnny Depp one. The Johnny Depp one was really cool, but...

One of the biggest beneficiaries of Trestman's new offense is Martellus Bennett, who has 10 catches for 125 yards and three TDs on the season, including the game-winning 16-yard grab with 10 seconds to go in Sunday's...
