Pro Football Zone:
Chicago Bears guard Lance Louis has improved a lot compared to last season. He’s been one of the only bright spots on their line this season.
“It has flown a bit under the radar while other members of the team’s offensive line have come under scrutiny for miscues at points this season, but we hear the Bears believe starting ORG Lance Louis is coming into his own in his contract year. Louis — who allowed 10 sacks in 14 games last season, according to STATS, LLC — has given up only one sack this season and continues to be a feisty run blocker. He brings the physicality offensive coordinator Mike Tice wants to see from his O-linemen,” wrote ProFootballWeekly.com.
Now the Bears need to bring in more offensive lineman next season that can help protect Jay Cutler.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall thinks the media has the wrong impression of quarterback Jay Cutler.Marshall, who also played with Cutler in Denver from 2006-08, doesn't want his quarterback to ever change."I don't think him being fiery or being passionate or wanting to win is misunderstood but the part of maybe him not being a good teammate -- that part...
This was like a guy bringing flowers to his wife in apology for the fifth time. He has learned the error of his ways this time, though. He's swears it. He's sorry. He'll never do it again.
Jay Cutler was the Jay Cutler everyone wants him to be Monday night, the one who is there for his team, with his team for the fight. He played through injury. He credited...
This week marks the return of the Detroit Lions to the national stage, as they head to Chicago for Monday Night Football looking to capitalize on some positive momentum following last week's comeback in Philadelphia. The meat of the NFC North schedule still remains for Detroit, so a win this week would go a long way towards setting the team up well for a second half run at what...

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler finished with 150 yards and a touchdown on 16-of-31 passing Monday against the Lions.Fantasy Spin:Cutler went to the locker room prior to halftime to have his ribs checked out and he really didn't have to do much in the second half as his defense shut down the Lions. Cutler is just a marginal fantasy option at this point, though his presence makes...
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler reportedly only suffered “bruised ribs” on a punishing hit from Detroit Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh during “Monday Night Football.”
Cutler took the snap from under center on a first-and-10 play in the second quarter with the Bears leading 10-0. He faked a handoff on a play action, then began rolling to his right after Suh penetrated...
Brandon Marshall is extremely close with Jay Cutler, so it’s no surprise he was upset with Ndamukong Suh for laying a monster hit on the quarterback during “Monday Night Football.”
The Bears wide receiver sent a few tweets after his team won 13-7 to complain about Suh’s sack:
A Suh. What u did to Jay wasn’t cool. Great players don’t have to do that.

Jay Cutler threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Marshall and the Chicago Bears held a 13-0 lead over the Detroit Lions after three quarters on Monday night.
The Bears are trying to solidify their spot at the top of the NFC North, while the last-place Lions are trying to get back into the race and avoid its fourth loss in five games.
Midway through the second quarter, the Bears...
Detroit Lions (2-3) at Chicago Bears (4-1)
This week, I put the Bears 1st in my Power Rankings. With the exception of the Thursday Night loss to Green Bay, the Bears have looked great this season, winning every game by 16 or more and only surrendering 7 sacks in 4 games. While you can’t completely ignore what happened on Thursday Night Football, it’s unreasonable to put too much...
Hard feelings? Bad blood?
The Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions for the most part did their best to downplay the idea leading into their game on Monday night.
It wasn't exactly an easy sell.
The way emotions boiled over the last time they met at Soldier Field, it's safe to wonder if sparks might fly this time, too.
If they do, players and coaches insisted it'll be because...
Monday night, October 22, 2012, brought about a very busy night for many TV's across America. Between the final presidential debate, Game 7 of the NLCS between the Giants and Cardinals, and, of course, the Chicago Bears versus the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.Odds are when the television ratings for the night come out that the Bears-Lions tilt on ESPN comes out on...
After the Jets nearly killed us two weeks ago (and caused me to pass out during the game), Philip Rivers helped our drinking cause last week with a slew of turnovers and temper tantrums.
We turn to the NFC North for our shenanigans this week, with the Lions heading to the Windy City to battle the rival Bears.
Before we talk about the roller coaster ride that is Jay Cutler and the...
