Found September 22, 2013 on Pro Sports Daily:
The Bears lived the old saying during a harrowing three hours Sunday night using their good defense to produce the best offense. Two Bears defenders returned turnovers for touchdowns including a 42-yard Julius Peppers return of Ben Roethlisberger’s fumble with 4:09 left to seal the 40-23 victory at Heinz Field. That seemed to bookend Major Wright’s 38-yard interception return in the second quarter — which gave Chicago a 24-3 lead that seemed insurmountable. The Steelers desperate and winless scored 20 of the next 23 points though. It took a challenge from coach Marc Trestman to regain more than a touchdown’s distance. The Bears led 27-23 with about six minutes remaining when on third down officials ruled incomplete a 17-yard Earl Bennett catch in the back left corner of the end zone. While the Bears’ field goal team trotted onto the field Trestman threw the red flag. Minutes later the ruling was overturned to the frustration of what was left of the crowd of 61 575. The Bears...

Does the real Ben Roethlisberger plan on showing up?

I thought the Steelers would bounce back this year. After all, they are the Steelers. Since 1970, the Pittsburgh organization has only had eight losing seasons. Yes, only eight. Everybody’s reasoning for the Steelers to have a bounce back year was, well, because they are Steelers. Yes, they are the Steelers, but they also are not good. In the Steelers’ first three games, I...

Bears’ Blitz key in rout of Steelers

“The more things change, the more they stay the same” – Chicago Bears fans in reference to the Bears’ defense in 2013. At its surface, that sentiment would appear to hold up. Sure, the Bears changed defensive coordinators and Brian Urlacher no longer dawns the navy and orange. But Mel Tucker is essentially running the same scheme as Lovie Smith did for years, and the Bears...

It’s time for the Steelers to fire Todd Haley

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a mess, but mostly on offense and that’s why they must fire Todd Haley. Now I will admit I’ve never liked Todd Haley as an offensive coordinator or a head coach, and I don’t take much satisfaction in calling for any person to lose their job, but this is a business. And so far Todd Haley has taken what Bruce Arians’ left and turned it into one...

Bears stay unbeaten, top Steelers

Chicago's defense forced five turnovers and scored twice, and the Bears beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 40-23 on Sunday night to remain unbeaten. Major Wright returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter, and Julius Peppers picked up Ben Roethlisberger's fumble and raced 42 yards for a score in the fourth quarter as the Bears (3-0) held off a late...

Pittsburgh Steelers Versus Chicago Bears – Second Half Recap

By Matthew Marczi The slow start to the season for the Pittsburgh Steelers dragged to a crawl early on in the first half of their third game against the Chicago Bears as they quickly fell behind 17-0, and then 24-3. However, a 33-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Brown helped spark some life into the lethargic Steelers, who finished the second quarter down two touchdowns and looking...
