The Chicago Bears won’t get wide receiver Johnny Knox back this season, but Alshon Jeffery is expected to return for the team in the next
two weeks, reports Michael C. Wright of ESPNChicago.com.
continues to get better," Bears coach Lovie Smith said on Monday.
"Don't know what his status will be this week, but we're getting closer as
each day goes by."
While coach Smith continued to be vague regarding Jeffery’s
broken hand, Wright has heard that the team is expected to hold him out of this
weekend’s contest against the Houston Texans as a “precautionary measure.”
Jeffery would then be projected to return Nov. 19 when the Bears take on the
San Francisco 49ers.
Knox has been out for the season while recovering from a
back injury sustained last year. Chicago had until yesterday to remove the
receiver from their physically unable to perform list, meaning he will miss the
entire rest of the season due to the injury.

After eight games in the regular season it is clear that Chicago Bears cornerback Charles "Peanut" Tillman is on track to be the NFL's defensive player of the year. There are some moments in a man’s life that are cherished.
Believe it or not, however, some might say that playing the Houston Texans in Week 10 of the NFL schedule is not one of those moments, at least not compared to say, seeing the birth of a child.
With that obviously in mind, Bears cornerback Charles Tillman has already said that if his wife goes into labor this weekend, Tillman...

Chicago Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler was asked on his weekly segment on WMVP-AM 1000, who he would be voting for this election.
“That’s a touchy subject,” Cutler said initially. “Yeah, I have been following the debates and everything. I do live in Tennessee. I’m voting for Mitt (Romney) this election season.”

No one needs a reminder of how poor the quarterback position in Chicago has been before the arrival of Jay Cutler. Any primetime game that has featured the Bears that I can recall in the last decade has shown the graphic. We all know the graphic. The long list of quarterbacks that Bears have ran
Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman has quietly been a star since he came into the NFL in 2003.
He finally got his recognition last season when he was voted to the Pro Bowl. He racked up a career high 99 tackles, while adding three interceptions and four forced fumbles in 2011.
