While the Chicago Bears have already listed linebacker Brian Urlacher and cornerback Tim Jennings as out for tomorrow’s pivotal matchup against the Green Bay Packers, the team could also be without defensive linemen Henry Melton and Shea McClellin. Urlacher (hamstring) and Jennings (shoulder) missed the entire week of practice and have been ruled out for the Packers game. McClellin (knee) and Melton (chest) were also sidelined for the week, and while they haven’t been ruled out for the game they are considered doubtful to play. Running back Michael Bush (ribs), linebacker Geno Hayes (knee) and defensive lineman Matt Toeaina (knee) were all able to return to practice at limited capacities toward the end of the week. The Bears are listing the trio as questionable to suit up against the Packers. Beyond Jennings and Urlacher, wide receiver Earl Bennett is slated to miss another week of action as he continues to recover from a concussion. If the Bears cannot protect Cutler they will not make the postseason. Week 15 preview.

Cutler is not going to make it through the season if the Bears cannot figure out how to protect cutler.   With only three weeks left in the season it's time to teams to step-up and secure a playoff spot or start looking forward to next season.  After a rough couple weeks I'm sitting at 132-76, I need to step it up. Here's a quick look at this weeks games. ...

Lovie Smith denies that Jay Cutler has an MCL sprain

Last night it was reported that Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has a sprained MCL. When addressing the media today, Bears head coach Lovie Smith denied that Cutler has such an injury. “What knee?” Smith said when asked about Cutler’s knee injury. But the knee injury is legitimate and that is why the team has listed Cutler with a knee injury on the report. “Jay is good to go...

Brandon Marshall Crying at Bears Press Conference

Video: This would never happen to Jay Cutler

Brian Urlacher takes a shot back at Jermichael Finley

Earlier this week, Green Bay Packer tight end Jermichael Finley came out and said the Bears are a better team without linebacker Brian Urlacher on the field. Bears linebacker Lance Briggs came to the defense of Urlacher, but Urlacher also decided to fire back at Finley. “Just like a couple of years ago, I think, he tore his ACL and the Packers were actually better without him,”...

Packers focused on stopping Bears WR Marshall

Greg Jennings thinks Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall is a genius. Marshall had made headlines one day earlier when he went off on the rival Green Bay Packers during his weekly media availability. But it was something Marshall said later that Jennings found brilliant: Marshall's attempt to bait the Packers into matching their cornerbacks up with him man-to-man. ...

Jay Cutler Dealing With A Sprained MCL

According to the Chicago Tribune, Bears QB Jay Cutler is dealing with a sprained MCL on top of the neck injury that he suffered last weekend against the Vikings. Cutler is, however, expected to practice on Friday and be available for Sunday’s game against the Packers with the division on the line. This certainly isn’t great news for the Bears as it continues a trend of notable...

Another Day, Another Beatdown of Cutler

Like death and taxes, the Packers' defensive dominance of Jay Cutler is practically a sure thing. The Bears gave up two first-round picks, a third-round pick and Kyle Orton in hopes of getting their championship quarterback. Instead, Cutler is 1-7 against Green Bay.

Cutler to play with sprained MCL

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, who was knocked out of Sunday’s contest with a stiff neck, also has a sprained MCL in his knee, although he is fully expected to play this weekend.

Bears receivers again disappointing

Other than Brandon Marshall, no other Chicago wide receiver caught a pass against the Packers. The lack of secondary production has become a trend for the Bears’ passing attack this season.

Can Bears turn tide against Packers?

Losers of four of their last five games and hanging precariously on the NFC playoff fence, the Chicago Bears attempt to slay their bitter rival Green Bay in a key NFC North match-up at Soldier Field on Sunday. The 8-5 Bears have stumbled since a 7-1 start, thanks to a porous offensive line and some key injuries. Unlike the first half [...]

Injury Update: McClellin And Melton Are Doubtful, While Hayes And Bush Are Questionable

15 Chicago Bears were listed on the team's injury report this week. Three have been ruled out, two are doubtful, three are questionable and seven are probable. LB Brian Urlacher (hamstring), CB Tim Jennings (shoulder) and WR Earl Bennett (concussion) have all been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers. Urlacher was never a thought to play this week,...
