NFL Trade Rumors:
According to Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Bears would like to retain free agent QB Jason Campbell.
Campbell, 31, signed a one-year deal worth $3.5 million with Chicago last year and wound up being forced into action against the 49ers. It wasn’t exactly a great showing on his part, but it’s hard to draw a worse spot-start than that.
The Bears have limited cap space to work with this offseason, so it will be interesting to see if they’re willing to offer him a similar deal to the one he signed last year.
We have him listed as the No. 83 best available player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.

Chicago Bears free agent linebacker Nick Roach appears to be drawing interest from other teams.
Roach's agent Josh Wright declined comment on the status of negotiations with the Bears, but said six teams had called as of Saturday afternoon.

According to ESPNChicago.com, Brian Urlacher’s agent has submitted a contract proposal to the Bears and are currently waiting for a counteroffer.
