Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky seems to have found a way to earn his teammates respect. By cussing them out. No, really.

Chicago guard Josh Sitton relayed a funny story about sharing the huddle with Trubisky, and what he did when the team started to break the huddle early.

This is just one of many ways that professional sports is different than any other line of work.

Imagine if the new guy at an accounting firm started cussing people out for leaving a meeting a few seconds early. It’s hard to think that that would go well.

But in football, it works.

Trubisky let his teammates know who was in charge. And in at least one case, the response was overwhelmingly positive. We have to give the kid credit for standing up and doing that.
