The Chicago Bears offense stepped up in a huge way this season. Starting quarterback Jay Cutler threw for over 2,000 passing yards and 12 touchdowns, back up quarterback Josh McCown threw for over 1,800 passing yards and 13 touchdowns.
For the first time in franchise history, the Chicago Bears had two wide receivers with over 1,000 receiving yards in the same year. Before that, it was just Brandon Marshall who was able to record a 1,000 yard year since Marty Booker.
This team will be looking to continue airing it out and hopefully get everybody else involved. Running back Matt Forte has always been a huge part of Chicago’s passing game and Earl Bennett has always delivered when the ball’s thrown in his direction.
With Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery having the number one and two slots on the depth chart locked up, that leaves Earl Bennett and Marquess Wilson competing for their number three. This team has high hopes for Wilson and know what he’s capable of.
