Running back Kahlil Bell signed his one-year restricted free agent tender with the Bears. He showed good vision, quickness and power along with pass-catching ability while replacing injured Matt Forte at the end of last season, but is likely to be third on the depth chart behind Forte and Michael Bush in 2012. Re-signing Bell gives the Bears two capable backs should Forte have a protracted contract dispute. Bell has rushed for 557 yards on 119 carries in three seasons with the Bears, adding 137 yards on 20 receptions. He had 79 carries for 337 yards (4.3 yards per carry) in 2011.
