The Bears released DT Anthony Adams on Sunday, creating more salary-cap space before free agency begins, the news was first reported by Michael Wright of ESPN Chicago. Adams, who had four starts in 11 games last season, was due $1.9 million in 2012, the move creates more flexibility for new Chicago general manager Phil Emery, who has plenty of needs to address in free agency.
