NFL Trade Rumors:
Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Mike Tice expressed frustration with the performance of team’s offensive line days after a brutal outing against the 49ers.
According to Sean Jenson of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Bears may be considering benching RT Gabe Carimi in favor of Jonathan Scott.
Tice would confirm anything, but he was disappointed with Carimi’s all around game at this point in time and added that Scott has ”played good football in his career.”
Tice has been forced to make numerous changes to the team’s offensive line in recent years, so it really wouldn’t be surprising to see someone get benched. Carimi is rates as one of the worst offensive tackles in league this season according to Pro Football Focus.
