NFL Trade Rumors:
The Chicago Bears announced that they’ve signed OL Eben Britton to a one-year deal on Tuesday.
Britton, 25, spent the past four years with the Jacksonville Jaguars and wound up starting 30 games for them during this time. He recently worked out for the Seahawks, but apparently the Bears were his best option.
Last year, Britton was benched in favor of undrafted rookie Mike Brewster. He’s also dealt with injuries during his career in the NFL, so it’s likely that he’ll have to earn his roster spot during training camp.

With free agency mostly behind us, it’s time to turn our attention to the 2013 NFL draft and start considering what teams could be looking for there. Rather than waste my time trying to project specific players to the Chicago Bears, who do not pick until the second half of the first round, I’m going to [...]The post Chicago Bears six biggest needs entering 2013 NFL Draft by...
When first-year Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman convenes his first official mini-camp Tuesday, the Bears will already have a vastly different look. Gone is defensive leader and perennial Pro Bowler Brian Urlacher, who continued the great legacy of Bears middle linebackers with his rare athletic skills over the past decade. Underrated outside linebacker Nick Roach also departed...
Based on film, Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman says offensive lineman Gabe Carimi, the team’s 2011 first-round pick, is a better fit at guard than tackle.
Chicago Bears veterans have been called to the old "voluntary" minicamp starting Tuesday to meet the new head coach and see what his plans might be. Minicamps usually don't get me overly excited, but I am curious to know what Marc Trestman has planned for running back Matt Forte.
Forte has been a very productive back for the Bears since he was drafted in the...
New coach Gus Bradley's first practice with the Jacksonville Jaguars came amid music: some rock, some rap and even a few pop songs blaring from sideline speakers.
It set the tempo - literally.
The high-paced, two-hour practice Tuesday kicked off a three-day voluntary minicamp for veterans. The Jaguars barely took a break during the session, which was designed to give new coaches...

There are many areas to address in the draft for the Jacksonville Jaguars. They have to go defense and find a pass rusher first... right?
The NFL Draft is a gamble. Teams owning the first pick hope to grab that one player to help turn their franchise around. Some players work out and that top overall pick helps return a team to the playoffs while other players bust and a franchise that’s already struggling continues to spiral downward. The modern NFL draft began in 1936, when the Chicago Bears made University of Chicago...
Daryl Smith, Tony Brackens, Greg Jones and Rashean Mathis all had nice careers with the Jacksonville Jaguars. All four players were taken in the second round of the draft. While premiere players are supposed to be found in the first round of the NFL Draft, there are many gems that are found in the second 32 choices of the selection process. The Jaguars will hope that happens again...
