The Chicago Bears began offseason workouts on Friday. Quarterback Caleb Williams and wide receiver Rome Odunze practiced together for the first time as Bears and the connection was palpable.
But Saturday's practice will be limited. Without an official injury designation, Odunze will sit out Saturday's practice.
The Bears are continuing the offseason workout plan but will do so without Odunze on Saturday. According to Ruthie Polinksy of NBC Sports Chicago, the rookie receiver will miss practice on Saturday due to hamstring tightness.
Odunze practiced fully on Friday without ailment, so Saturday's absence is likely precautionary. As offseason programs progress, the Bears will ramp up before the strenuous workouts of training camp come mid-summer.
