*Reports have Garland at 305
Ben Garland was an undrafted rookie for the Denver Broncos in 2010, a nose guard at Air Force the Broncos saw as a defensive end in their 3-4 defense. I can distinctly remember scouting Garland in training camp that year and coming away impressed, and disappointed that he didn’t make the team. Few will work harder to be a Bronco than Ben Garland.
Analysis: It has been two years since Garland has seen the football field, instead serving the Air Force on active duty while remaining on the Broncos’ reserve/military list. NFLDraftScout.com called him “one of the most dominant defensive linemen in the (Mountain West) Conference all season” his senior year. That year he had 43 tackles, including 10.5 tackles for loss.
Contract Status: $490,000 in 2012; free agent in 2013
2012 Outlook: Garland has increased his weight and has been reportedly competing at DT i...

Denver Broncos top draft pick Derek Wolfe won’t be solely relegated to the defensive tackle position his rookie season. In fact, he could see more time at defensive end than DT, reports the Denver Post.

The Denver Broncos‘ first mandatory mini-camp is less than two weeks away, meaning the clock is ticking for Matt Prater‘s decision: to hold out, or not to hold out.
Maybe he won’t have to decide at all. Klis reports –
The Broncos have made progress in recent days with Prater on a five-year deal. The team...
Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey was named the 46th-best player in the NFL by NFL Network on Wednesday. Below is Bailey’s reaction to his ranking in an interview with NFLN:
Footage of quarterback Peyton Manning (50th) can be found here, outside linebacker Von Miller (52nd) available here, defensive end Elvis Dumervil (68th) located here and running back Willis McGahee...
Ty Warren is owed 4 million dollars this season and, after he has missed the entirety of the last 2 seasons with different injuries, the Broncos are unwilling to pay him that. They have asked him to take a pay cut down to around 1-1.5 million dollars for this season and he is currently contemplating if that’s something he’d like to do. His other options would be to get cut and...
According to Lindsey Jones of the Denver Post, the Broncos have been monitoring the amount of throws quarterback Peyton Manning has been making each practice.
Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy said that they haven’t limited the types of throws or the distance of the throws that Manning’s been making.
“His reps will increase as we go,” McCoy said.
The Broncos used a 2nd round pick on Derek Wolfe in the 2012 NFL Draft. Wolfe was a collegiate defensive tackle and defensive tackle is a major position of need for the Broncos. However, according to defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio, the Broncos plan to use Wolfe, 6-6 295, at defensive end in base packages and move him inside to defensive tackle on passing downs in sub packages...
“But a four-time MVP made you some QB that we used to know!”, laments the heartbroken Tim Tebow fan, body painted in Denver Broncos colors, singing to a framed picture of John Elway. Well done, Internets. Well done. Gotye’s got nothing on this.

Out of the many plays I’ve profiled so far, you’ve heard names like John Elway, Champ Bailey, or Steve Atwater, but here is one you probably won’t recognize – Jeremiah Castille. Castille’s heads up individual effort would end up part of NFL lore and drive the Denver Broncos into their second consecutive Super Bowl appearance.
Ernest Byner and the Cleveland...
