It’s hard not to root for Ben Garland.
Scratch that, it’s un-American.
“I got to practice today, then I got to put on the best uniform in the world, which is this Air Force uniform,” Garland said Wednesday. Garland was sworn into the 140th Wing of the Colorado Air National Guard, part of his six-year commitment as a public relations officer for the Air Force.
Garland spent the last two years on active duty with the Air Force. An undrafted rookie free agent of the Broncos in 2010, he has spent the last two seasons on Denver’s military reserve list, waiting to resume this opportunity.
He’s the first Bronco in team history to be inducted...

According to Lindsey Jones of the Denver Post, the Broncos have been monitoring the amount of throws quarterback Peyton Manning has been making each practice.
Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy said that they haven’t limited the types of throws or the distance of the throws that Manning’s been making.
“His reps will increase as we go,” McCoy said.
The Broncos used a 2nd round pick on Derek Wolfe in the 2012 NFL Draft. Wolfe was a collegiate defensive tackle and defensive tackle is a major position of need for the Broncos. However, according to defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio, the Broncos plan to use Wolfe, 6-6 295, at defensive end in base packages and move him inside to defensive tackle on passing downs in sub packages...
