The Cincinnati Bengals agreed to terms with linebacker Manny Lawson on a one-year contract worth $3 million, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported Monday night.
Lawson spent his first five seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, collecting 240 tackles and 14.5 sacks in 64 games. Over the last two years, he has nine sacks and five forced fumbles.
Lawson also is solid in coverage and can cover tight ends. Last season, he had his second career interception and a career-high six passes defensed.
