CJ Sports NASCAR Talk:
After coming up big for the Bengals this past week in the teams’ thrilling road win over the Washington Redskins
, WR A.J. Green and DE Michael Johnson are getting some deserved praise from the analysts at Pro Football Focus in their weekly Team of the Week segment in which they select the past weeks’ best players based on their PFF grades. Consider it their version of the All-Week 3 team. Green leads the way after his 9-catch, 183-yard performance highlighted his career day vs. the Skins:
Wide Receivers: A.J. Green, CIN (+4.8) and Calvin Johnson, DET (+4.2)
Two players who just keep doing what they’re doing. Green picked up 183 yards as he and Andy Dalton really found their stride. Over in Tennessee Calvin Johnson kept making plays even when the Titans defensive scheme was set up to prevent him beating them down the field. 164 yards later you realize you just can’t stop Megatron sometimes
He now leads the AFC in receiving yards (311) and trails only Calvin Johnson for the NFL lead (369). A selection in this years’ Pro Bowl should be the absolute minimum when it comes to Greens’ goals, as the level he’s playing at right now will have him in the conversation for an All-Pro selection, and may even garner some MVP votes.

With Nate Clements in a walking boot, Leon Hall nursing a hammy, Jason Allen down-again! and Dre Kirkpatrick still out, the Bengals had an alarming lack of depth in the secondary. The only healthy corners as of this writing are Adam Jones and Terence Newman.
So, when considering the alternatives (none), the Bengals brought back safety Chris Crocker. They made room for...
Hot Cincinnati Bengals Cheerleaders. Today we continue with the second team in the AFC North with the ladies of the Bengals. The girls in stripes are looking healthy and somewhat out of the blue the football team is looking good too. Not used to seeing a good team in Cincinnati in my day, but maybe that's one of the reasons the girls are following along. Check out the...
Safety Chris Crocker was re-signed by the Cincinnati Bengals. The 10th-year player signed with the Bengals during the 2008 season and was with the team through last season, starting every game in 2011. Tight end Donald Lee had his contract terminated by the Bengals. The 10th-year veteran was inactive for each of the first three games this season.

Man-crush alert! Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green is an absolute beast. Right now he’s the number one WR in the fantasy game. He may not stay at number one because of a guy called ‘Megatron’, but he’ll certainly be Top 5, probably Top 3.

Nicknamed the Red Rifle by Bengals fans, Dalton has led the Cats to a phenomenal 2-1 start. With the exception of a disastrous start to the 2012 season against the Baltimore Ravens, where Dalton passed fairly well excluding an interception he threw, the Bengals were torn apart by their division rival 44-13. This rout was a wake up call for this team looking to make a bigger statement this year.

The NFL’s referee debacle is finally resolved, so now people can begin to focus on the league and where it is heading. There is no question that offense is king in today’s game. It has been well documented by the Elias Stats Bureau that, this year, NFL offenses are putting up astronomical numbers of points each week. Yet...
Cincinnati Bengals Cornerback Adam Jones said on Bengals.com Friday that he does not think he should have been fined $15,000 this week for a horse-collar tackle last Sunday against the Washington Redskins. He was also fined $75,000 before the season from an incident at a bar that took place during last year's lockout. But Jones does not think he will win an appeal, but he...
The Cincinnati Bengals rank 28th against the pass this year, allowing 8.5 YPA, and have been torched by every quarterback they’ve faced, including Brandon Weeden, who completed 26 of 37 for 322 yards and 2 scores against them, which represents by far his best statistical game of the season. Injuries have been a huge part of the problem. Cornerbacks Jason Allen and Dre Kirkpatrick...
I hope you will forgive me as I know I’m a little late with this week’s hit list (by 3 days). My “regular” job sometimes requires me to travel to far-off exotic lands where people speak in strange tongues and practice odd customs.
This week it was New Jersey.
Anyway, the Bengals won a very strange affair last Sunday in Washington, and “survived” several scares...
Are the same old Bungals for real in 2012?
They were once known as that and some still consider them as a franchise that cannot win the big game let alone make the playoffs again, Cincinnati is looking impressive with the development of Andy Dalton at quarterback.
A.J. Green went bonkers against the Washington Redskins pass defense that turned into swiss cheese, but perhaps Dalton...
Riding high with the win over Washington, Cincinnati makes its second early-season trip in as many years to Jacksonville. The Jaguars are still in a rebuilding phase with QB Blaine Gabbert, who hasn’t shown as much as fellow 2011 draft picks Cam Newton, Christian Ponder, or our own Andy Dalton. He does have some weapons, most importantly the mighty mite, Maurice Jones-Drew...
If I said I cared about this game at all, I would be lying directly to your ugly mug. I assume you’re ugly because I assume the only people who care about this game are Benglas’ and Jaguars’ fans. I don’t know if you’ve ever been to Cincinnati or Jacksonville, but there isn’t a great selection of lookers in either fan base. When Jacksonville eventually moves to Los Angeles...
Sure, the Indianapolis Colts are on a bye, but that won’t stop me from celebrating my favorite second-year cheerleader Lindsey Fingerle up there, because she, like so many of the NFL’s delightful ladies, deserves to be celebrated. So everyone take a moment to celebrate. *pauses, falls asleep, farts* Splendid, now on to business.
4:05 PM ET on CBS – Miami Dolphins (1-2) at...
