Found December 14, 2012 on Fox Sports:
So long, Eagles. Up ahead for the Cincinnati Bengals, the only Pennsylvania team that truly matters. Andy Dalton threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score, an opportunistic defense forced five turnovers and Cincinnati beat the Philadelphia Eagles 34-13 on Thursday night. The Bengals (8-6) took a half-game lead over the Steelers for the last playoff spot in the AFC. But their game at Pittsburgh next week is far more important in the standings than this one. The Bengals would clinch their second straight playoff berth with a win over the Steelers if Pittsburgh loses at Dallas this Sunday. A loss to the Steelers, though, likely would ruin Cincinnati's chances because it would lose the tiebreaker. ''We control what we can control,'' coach Marvin Lewis said. ''We want to win in December, so we have a chance to win in January.'' Can they beat the Steelers? Probably not if they play like they did for most of their 60 minutes at Lincoln Finan...

Eagles QB Michael Vick Cleared to Return, Won’t Suit Up

Eagles QB Michael Vick was cleared to return by an independent league neurologist, but the signal caller won’t suit up against the Bengals, per Reuben Frank. Eagles HC Andy Reid noted that Nick Foles would be the starter for Philadelphia the rest of the way no matter what happened with Vick, so it’s likely just a precaution keeping out Vick. The Eagles will need a strong game...

The Reid Era In Microcosm

It's A Fummm Bulll... Today in his next-day press conference, Eagles Coach For Too Many Days That End In Y Andy Reid pointed out how turnovers killed his team in last night's game against Cincy, how you just can't have that, and how he takes complete responsibility for the team doing this, as if it were a new problem, rather than something that's been systemic. And...

What Are Your Honest Thoughts On The Eagles?

As we all know the Eagles season didn't quite play out the way we thought it would.  Coming off of last season's 8-8 record, this year was bound for improvement.  Man, were we wrong. Watching an Eagles game was extremely painful at times this season.  Even our friends from Cover Sports and the awesome banner above couldn't help make the experience a little better...

Eagles Start Out Slow Vs. Bengals

Categories: BREAKING NEWS Eagles General News NewsBefore you could even sit down to enjoy the game, Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin put the ball on the ground.  The Bengals had noticed the carelessness with which the Birds handled the football and came into the game thinking about forcing fumbles.  They’ve already got one early. The Law Firm Dismisses The Eagles Defense With Extreme Prejudice

Judge…audience…people of the jury.  What we have here today in front of us is a case so vile…so heinous…so uncomfortably dramatized by the writer that we must bring it to light so that others might find a way to ease this poor man’s suffering.  BenJarvus Green-Ellis has been a stand-up RB2 for most of the year and his efforts have gone virtually ignored.  For every bright...

The Philadelphia Eagles are pinching pennies: Mike Patterson move proves cash is king

Late in November in an apparent cost cutting move the Philadelphia Eagles cut Jason Babin. At the time, while many people that I spoke to called it a blatant cash motivated move by a cheap owner I found plenty of reasons from a football sense to justify it. The recent decision to reduce Mike Patterson's salary after placing him on the non-football illness list is much more difficult...
