NFL Injury Report:
Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap was held out
of practice yesterday after suffering a concussion earlier in the week,
according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

It’s unclear if this is something that Dunlap can recover
from soon, or if it’s an injury that will continue to sideline him through the
preseason. As concussions have shown in the past, it’s difficult to pinpoint a
return timeframe for players, considering some have more lasting and long-term
impacts than others.
Considering the timing of the injury, the Bengals will
likely take it slow with Dunlap. There’s no need to rush him back even after he’s
cleared to return.
The Bengals signed Dunlap to a lucrative, long-term contract
extension this offseason. The deal was for six-years and $40 million, and
Cincinnati is hoping the defensive end is able to start earning that big pay
day Week 1.

I have been a fan of Mohamed Sanu since his days at Rutgers. CINCINNATI (AP) -- When receiver Cobi Hamilton dropped a sideline pass during a training camp practice, quarterback Andy Dalton sought him out and gave him an encouraging slap on the helmet.
In his third season, Dalton is clearly becoming more of a leader.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis is dealing with a fractured right hand.Fantasy Spin:Schefter called it a "slight" fracture and said that Willis will play through the injury. Willis dealt with the same injury back in 2007 and ended up winning Rookie of the Year honors. That, ladies and gentleman, is called toughness.
