Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Leon Hall injured his Achilles tendon during Sunday's 24-17 loss to the AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reported that many of Hall's teammates fear that it is a season-ending injury.
Hall intercepted a pass bobbled by Steelers tight end Heath Miller earlier in the second quarter, but then suffered his injury during Pittsburgh's final drive before halftime.
Signed to a four-year, $42.375 million extension in August, Hall collected 30 tackles and one interception prior to Sunday's game.
