Cornerback Leon Hall is out for the season with a torn Achilles tendon, leaving the Cincinnati Bengals' secondary in flux heading into a pivotal game.
Hall suffered the injury during a 24-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Tests after the game found that the tendon had detached from the bone. He'll have surgery later this week.
The Bengals placed him on injured reserve on Monday, ending his streak of playing in all 74 games since he arrived as a first-round draft pick in 2007. Hall said on Monday that he's never missed a game in high school or college because of injury.
The Bengals hope Adam ''Pacman'' Jones can play Sunday at Baltimore, which also is 6-3. Jones has missed the last two games with a pulled hamstring.
