Cincinnati Bengals 1st-round pick Kevin Zeitler has impressed coaches during the preseason and is expected to start at right guard in the season opener.
Bengals offensive line coach Paul Alexander told the Cincinnati Enquirer: “you always hold back a little bit (in terms of expecations), but I think he is pretty good right now… There were plays where he looked like a 10-year vet.”

Now that we are half-way through the preseason, it is time to take another look at how the roster is shaping up. We know quite a bit more than we did back in May when I did my second projection of who the 25 offensive players would be. Was I close? What has changed since then?
The biggest hit was seeing Wharton lost for the season. I will make an allowance for the possibility that...
Cincinnati Bengals rookie cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick passed his physical and was activated from the physically unable to perform list. Kirkpatrick is recovering from a knee injury sustained during a July workout. The Bengals did get win number 2 of the preseason and the first team offense was finally able to muster...

Herron showed flashes of NFL potential at Ohio State, but missed significant time as a senior due to his suspension for his involvement in the Ohio State tattoo parlor scandal. The Bengals gave him a shot, but he apparently has failed...
When Jones-Drew’s agent announced that the outstanding running back is open to being traded, you could almost hear the collective eyebrows of the Bengals fans everywhere raise a bit, eyes fixed on empty space as we considered the immensity of such a possibility. He would immediately make the Bengals the favorites to win the AFC North, if not more.
Sorry, folks, it ain’t gonna...
One of the players that Players View has followed very closely this year is Packers running back Cedric Benson.
