Bengals Elevate Two Wide Receivers From Practice Squad for Matchup With Texans

The Bengals elevated wide receivers Stanley Morgan Jr. and Shedrick Jackson from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the Texans.

Morgan will suit up for a second-straight week and be a core piece of Darrin Simmons' special teams unit. Special teams ace Tycen Anderson suffered a torn ACL in Week 9. Morgan has taken his spot and could eventually join the 53-man roster.

The Bengals also elevated Jackson, which means rookie wide receiver Charlie Jones will likely miss a sixth-straight game. He returned to practice this week, but it sounds like they want to give him a few more days. He could be re-join the roster ahead of Cincinnati's road matchup with Baltimore in Week 11.

With Tee Higgins ruled out due to a hamstring injury, having Jackson available makes sense.

Ja'Marr Chase (back) is expected to play, league sources tell All Bengals. That means the six wide receivers will be active on Sunday are Chase, Morgan, Jackson, Tyler Boyd, Trenton Irwin and Andrei Iosivas.
