NFL Injury Report:
26-year-old Andre Smith has been a Bengals "top priority" since the beginning of free agency. I moved Smith to No. 1 on my available players list after Sebastian Vollmer signed his deal on March 24th. Smith was the Bengals first round pick in 2009 and played his first full season in 2012.Smith's deal is worth $18,000,000 over the next three seasons. I'm sure the recent addition of RB Giovani Bernard - 37th overall pick from North Carolina - gave the team additional motivation to solidify their offensive big guys. Comparatively, Cincinnati got a great deal on smith who is making significantly less than his St. Louis counterpart Jake Long (4 years / $34,000,000).

The cameras of NFL Films followed Smith and the Bengals management for Hard Knocks as they went about their business separately. The Bengals were going through training camp in Georgetown, Ky., while Smith was home in Alabama holding out.
NFL News: Andre Smith is one of the better tackles in the game and went looking for big money but couldn’t find a suitor. I believe part of the problem for Smith was this draft class. It was so deep with offensive linemen that not many teams could justify spending top dollar on him. So he has reluctantly re-signed with the Bengals on a 3-year deal worth 18 million dollars. Not...

Tyler Eifert's first decision in Cincinnati is getting a little notice. He'll be wearing Ochocinco's old number.
By design, no less.
Eifert wore No. 80 at Notre Dame, where he developed into one of the nation's best tight ends. The Bengals got him with the 21st overall pick on Thursday night even though they didn't have a glaring need for another tight end ...
CINCINNATI (AP) -- The Bengals have taken running back Giovani Bernard from North Carolina with the first of their two picks in the second round of the NFL draft.
The pick completes their 2011 deal with Oakland for quarterback Carson Palmer. They got the Raiders' first-round pick last year, using it on cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick. They also got the second-round pick -- the 37th...
CINCINNATI (AP) -- The Bengals turned the first two days of their NFL draft into an upgrade for the offense, re-signing right tackle Andre Smith while bringing a tight end and a running back aboard.
Things went so well that they felt free to take a chance on a track star-turned-defensive end from Estonia in the second round.
Smith had been the only missing piece of the starting offense...
The most electric tailback to suit up in Carolina blue in a decade officially begins his NFL career as Giovani Bernard is selected by the Cincinnati Bengals with the second pick of the second round.
