The Cincinnati Bengals were granted a two-day roster exemption for running back Cedric Benson. Benson, coming off an NFL suspension, will be allowed to be with the Bengals until Wednesday without being added to the 53-man roster. Cincinnati must make a roster move in order to have room for Benson. Benson, who leads the team in rushing with 458 yards, was suspended for Sunday's win over Seattle for a pair of misdemeanor assault cases that were settled during the offseason. Bernard Scott started in place of Benson and ran for 76 yards against the Seahawks.
