Every year there’s a handful of college free agents that the Bengals sign with a viable opportunity to earn a spot on the team’s 53-man roster. Even look at this year’s new and improved mega-roster of awesome that so many are swooning over.
Kyle Cook (signed by Minnesota), Chris Pressley, Dennis Roland (signed by Dallas), Dan Skuta are all guys with (at least some) starting experience. Armon Binns (signed by Jacksonville) is being talked about as a leading candidate for the No. 2 wide receiver spot and you won’t find a soul that doesn’t love themself some Young Baby Hawk (Andrew Hawkins). Long story short, undrafted free agents will always make their marks in Cincinnati.
And Cincinnati’s class of undrafted free agents this year might be the best Marvin Lewis has ever seen. Not just with the Bengals, but in his life.
