Bengals left tackle Andrew Whitworth is expected to miss time during spring practices after having his knee scoped soon that will deal "with some scar tissue". According to Andrew Whitworth, the Cincinnati Bengals starting left tackle (and now one-time Pro Bowler) is planning to have a procedure done on his knee during the offseason that deals "with some scar tissue" which has caused some issues for the past two years. "It's just a little repair. Nothing big," Whitworth told Bengals.com. "Everybody in the league deals with something like this. I did it about two years ago and it just wasn't getting any better. Now we've got a chance to get something done with plenty of time to rest." Whitworth is expected to miss time during offseason workouts, especially during spring practices. You can probably figure that Anthony Collins, who is entering 2013 on the final year of a two-year contract, will take his place while rehabilitating.
