Bengals running back Cedric Peerman has been fined $20,000 fine for what the league is calling illegal blindside block on a punt return during last Sunday’s game against Indianapolis. Peerman’s block was on Colts linebacker A.J. Edds during the third quarter on Brandon Tate’s 33-yard return. Edds left the game with a concussion and has not practiced all week. He is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against New Orleans but is unlikely to play. A penalty was not called by officials during the return.
