The Cincinnati Bengals have released wide receiver Matt Jones, according to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer, citing a league source. Jones, a fifth-year pro who spent his first four season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, had 4 receptions for 54 yards in five preseason games with the Bengals. Three of those catches were in the team's first preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys on Aug. 8. Jones, 27, signed a one-year deal with the Bengals in February after not playing in 2009. Jones was the Jaguars' first-round draft pick in 2005, but he started just five games in his first three seasons.
