Bengals S Nelson agrees to terms on four-year pact

The Cincinnati Bengals and safety Reggie Nelson agreed to terms on a four-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not announced for the 28-year-old Nelson, who started all 16 games in 2011. "We've got a great young team and I wanted to be a part of that," Nelson told the team's site. "I never wanted to leave, but when we went on the market, I had to keep my options open. But I'm comfortable being with the Bengals and these guys. It's where I want to be." The 21st overall pick of the 2007 draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Nelson collected 85 tackles, two sacks and four interceptions last season.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Cincinnati Bengals have re-sign safety Reggie Nelson.  Terms of the deal haven’t been disclosed yet. Re-signing Nelson was a priority for the Bengals after the great season he had in helping the Bengals get back to the playffos.  He racked up 85 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 4 interceptions.
