Per a confirmed report by the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Cincinnati Bengals will be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks for this upcoming football season. The news was originally reported by Philadelphia Daily News writer Paul Domowitch via Twitter. However shortly after posting that tweet, he erased it. Guess he didn’t heed the words of Herm Edwards when it comes to posting tweets that your not 100% okay with the world reading….”DONT PRESS SEND!” According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, the official announcement from HBO and the NFL is scheduled for next week. This will be the second time the Bengals will be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks. they were featured in HBO’s 2009 installment of Hard Knocks. The 2009 episodes featured a cast of characters that included Tank Johnson, Carson Palmer, and of coarse, Chad “OchoCinco” Johnson which he introduced to the world his famous saying “Kiss the baby” along with Chad’s business ideas such as selling a “Ocho Cinco Condom”. Chad’s “tag line” was going to be, “It catches everything your Johnson shoots.” Chad, Carson and Tank are no longer with the Bengals as they have been replaced with Andy Dalton, A.J. Green and Geno Atkins. Neither of those guys seem to have a personality for TV like Chad or Tank, but ya never know.. We will have to tune in to see.
