The Cincinnati Bengals on Friday signed free agent tight end Bo Scaife, who had been with the Tennessee Titans, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
Scaife, 30, spent his first six seasons with the Titans, catching 251 passes for 2,382 yards and 12 TDs. He had 36 catches for 318 yards and four TDs last season.
Scaife is not considered a good blocking tight end but will provide veteran insurance at the position alongside Chase Coffman, who caught three passes in six games as a rookie last season.
