Bengals’ Zack Moss Speaks Out About Joining Team

The Cincinnati Bengals are setting their sights high for their new acquisition, running back Zack Moss.

Interviews with team officials have revealed their excitement about Moss’s potential impact since his signing as a free agent, indicating significant plans for him within the team’s strategy.

Moss himself recently appeared on the “Up and Adams” show with Kay Adams, shedding light on his decision to join the Bengals. He emphasized that the team’s general scheme alignment played a crucial role in his choice. Additionally, Moss expressed enthusiasm about the offensive weapons surrounding him.

“It’s hard to turn down a guy like Burrow…guys like Chase and Higgins and just all the talent on both sides of the ball. It’s so much space. That really intrigued me. Being able to play in a box when you only got six guys, maybe seven, and if there’s seven, it’s kind of gonna be real hard for them to defend the pass game. So it’s just something that I was like very, very intrigued about and super excited to be a Bengal.”

In Cincinnati, Moss will form a dynamic one-two punch with sophomore Chase Brown, presenting a scheme fit that may differ slightly from their previous setup with Joe Mixon, who has since moved on to the Houston Texans.

While Moss’s addition doesn’t preclude the Bengals from considering another running back in the upcoming draft, the synergy he anticipates with Brown and the team’s overall offensive potential were key factors in his decision to join the Bengals.

It will be interesting to see what Zack Moss can do with the Bengals. He showcased potential star talent as the primary running back for the Colts last season when Jonathan Taylor was out. Now, he’ll have an opportunity to prove he’s a true No. 1 NFL running back.
