TEAMS: Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots
Bernard Pollard has been a Patriots killer. Pollard injured Tom Brady during the 2008 season when he played with the Chiefs, Wes Welker in 2009 with the Texans, and the Rob Gronkowski in in last yearâs AFC Championship. Pollard struck again, this time it was Patriots running back, Stevan Ridley.Ridley fumbled on the play and the Ravens recovered. Ridley was ruled out for the game with a âheadâ injury. Appears the Ravens are going to the Super Bowl to face the 49ers.

Patriots Killer Bernard Pollard Says Bradyâs Slide Was âBull Crapâ
In retrospect, it does look like Brady went a little high with his slide. You make the call dirty or not?
Here is what Patriot Killer Bernard Pollard had to say.
âYouâve got to keep them legs down,â said Pollard. âYouâve go to keep the legs down. We all know and understand whatâs going on there. And as a quarterback, when you go to slide, weâre taught . . . we canât...
Bernard Pollard TKOâs Stevan Ridley
Bernard Pollard of the Baltimore Ravens got in the way of Patriots running back Stevan Ridley, and one of the more scary helmet to helmet collisions occurred. Stevan Ridley lowered his head directly impacting Pollardâs and immediately Stevanâs body went limp and hit the ground. The ball also dropped out of his hands causing a fumble on the play. Ridley was down on the turf...

Yesterday during the AFC Championship game between the Ravens and Patriots, Ravens safety Bernard Pollard delivered the knockout blow to New Englandâs Super Bowl chances when he knocked Stevan Ridley out the game with a vicious shot. Â
Pollard who could be referenced to as the Patriot killer for taking out so many Pats over the years, understands itâs a game, and told CSNNE...

Patriots RB Stevan Ridley wears interesting post game outfit
I know New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley suffered a head injury in Sundayâs loss to the Baltimore Ravens, and I take no delight in that, butâŚ.this post game get up? What was he thinking?
Verrrrrry interesting, to say the least.
Ridley wore a blue grown folks onesie, a pair of white moon...

Pats' Ridley gets KO'd while losing fumble
A key play in Sunday's AFC Championship Game cost the New England Patriots both the ball and the services of running back Stevan Ridley. Ridley was ruled to have fumbled after a helmet-to-helmet collision with Ravens safety Bernard Pollard early in the fourth quarter, and Baltimore's Arthur Jones came away with the ball. Ridley was on the ground for more than a minute...
Pollard criticizes Brady for leg lift on slide
Baltimore Ravens strong safety Bernard Pollard thinks New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady should be punished by the NFL for a dangerous play during Sunday's AFC Championship Game. Brady lifted his right leg and struck Ravens free safety Ed Reed in the leg while sliding on a bootleg. The veteran defensive back was slowing down to avoid hitting Brady. According to the...
Benard Pollard: âBradyâs Slide Was Bull Crapâ
Tom Brady is known for getting the better end of calls and actually was the reason low hits on the QB became such a big deal. Bernard Pollard took out his knee when he was a member of the Chiefs (not intentional) and refs have been throwing more and more flags ever since.Â
In yesterdayâs game, Brady âslidâ to avoid contact, but sure looked like he was throwing a kick at...
Meast And Least: Championship Sunday
The Sean Taylor Memorial Meast for Championship Sunday is Bernard Pollard. Weâre not celebrating the fact that he crippled Stevan Ridley to cause a game-clinching fumble so much as Bonecrusher Pollardâs continued legacy as the Greatriotsâ most celebrated villain. It is only fitting on this, Patriots Schadenfreude Day. Only once since 2008 has Pollard not in some way had a hand...
Bernard Pollard, Dropped Passes, No Aqib Talib, Etc.
First let me say that it was a fun ride this season, and at the beginning of the year I did not expect to even be in this game. However, I did expect to win it all when the playoffs began because the Patriots were healthy, so it was still a disappointment. Once again, I'm hearing, "If only Welker caught that pass." This, of course, makes Wes Welker the scapegoat again...
Ravens SS Bernard Pollard Says Tom Brady's Slide Was 'Bull Crap'
Tom Brady's first-half slide that kicked Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed did not sit well with another of the Ravens defensive backs.
Safety Bernard Pollard, whose 2008 hit on Brady ended the Patriots QB's season with a knee injury, took issue with Brady's leg-in-the-air approach to his slide.
"You've got to keep them legs down," Pollard told CSNNE...
Rabbit Punches Conference Championships: Pollard Likens Brady Slide to Ty Cobb
A Rabbit Punch has two meanings, both of which describe the nature of the article. 1. A series of fast punches. 2. An illegal punch to the back of the head between the skull and the first vertebrate that can cause permanent damage to the nerves or death.
One game left. Two games to make jokes about in the books from this weekend. This can only mean one thing for Rabbit Punches; just...
NFL reviewing Tom Brady's accidental kick to Ed Reed
Yesterday, Bernard Pollard implied that Tom Brady should be fined for kicking Ed Reed in the umm groin area on a slide. Today, it appears as if the NFL is looking into it.

Bitter ramblings and unresolved feelings from Pat's loss
Alright, I've been trying to hold it in and ignore it as best I can all day, but I have to vent. Last night's game has been bothering the **** out of me all day, as I'm sure it has for all true, die-hard Patriots fan, and I need to talk about what pissed me off and confused me most about last night's because I haven't been able to express emotion since screaming...
AFC Championship Live Blog, First Half
When Baltimore defensive coordinator Dean Pees was asked this week how his team plans to stop Tom Brady, he jokingly replied, âHire Tonya Harding.â No need to outsource the Dreamboat injury duties when you got Bernard Pollard on the roster.
In reality, the Ravens defense has typically done all right against Brady without resorting to head-hunting and knee-shredding.
Ouch RT...
