Bernard Pollard was one of the key members of the Baltimore Ravens’ Super Bowl-winning defense last season. Despite his great season last year, the team released him in March. He signed with the Tennessee Titans, and it sounds like there are some hard feelings between him and some people associated with the team. During an interview with Norris & Davis Show on 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore, Pollard said he was “stunned a little bit” over his release. He said he would not be joining the team in DC for its celebratory visit to the White House, explaining that he already had a family vacation scheduled. But he says he would not have made the trip anyway even if he didn’t have a conflict. “I’m not gonna be there,” Pollard told the hosts, via Pro Football Talk. “I’m either going to have someone get my ring or have them ship it to me. I gotta sit this one out, man. I actually have a vacation with my family and then I’m coming back to get [my ring]. If I didn’t have a vacation, I wouldn’t c

Rookie pair bolsters Titans' offensive line

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Much has been made of the Titans drafting an offensive lineman in the first round, for the first time in two decades. It was an interior pick, too. That hadnt occurred with the TitansOilers franchise in three decades. But Alabama guard Chance Warmack was too good to pass with the No. 10 overall pick, especially with former Bills guard Andy Levitre already arriving...

He was trying for a fresh start with the Baltimore Ravens, but former 1st round pick Rolando McClain is retiring from the NFL at the age of 23, according to BaltimoreRavens.com. The former Butkus Award-winner never lived up to the high expectations that came with him after leaving Alabama and being selected as the eighth-overall pick in 2010. Rolando McClain could make a comeback

According to ProFootballTalk.com, it sounds like Rolando McClain’s decision to retire is a way for him to clean up his life and possibly return to the NFL at some point if he’s successful at staying out of trouble for an extended period of time. Baltimore Ravens Sign Quaterback Dayne Crist

The Baltimore Ravens have signed former Kansas quarterback Dayne Crist. He has many struggles and is highly doubtful to be any serious competition to make the 53-man-roster. If he lands somewhere, it will be as a practice squad member and even that, quite frankly, is a stretch. We do wish the kid the best of luck though as anything can really happen. The most memorable face of their...

Baltimore Ravens Rolando McClain Retires… Or Does He?

The Baltimore Ravens have announced that 24-year-old inside line backer Rolando McClain has decided to retire. The former 8th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft has been marred by personal issues in his short career and most likely decided to save face rather than being cut. Hopefully this is the slap in the face that McClain needs to get his life together and possibly rejoin the...

Dennis Pitta Signs One-Year Deal To Stay With Baltimore Ravens

Restricted free agent tight end, Dennis Pitta, has re-signed with the Baltimore Ravens on a one-year deal worth about 2 million dollars. I’m sure the Ravens would have liked to work out a longer term deal and still may do so later on, but Pitta broke-out in 2012 and is going to be a bigger part of the offense with Anquan Boldin now in San Francisco. Pitta finished 2012 as the 7th...
