Former Bengal and free agent running back Bernard Scott is visiting with the Raiders Wednesday and is also expected to meet with the Bengals later this week, according to Mike Garafolo of the USA Today.
Scott is expected to participate in drills that are designed to show reveal how his surgically repaired knee is progressing.
With the loss of Mike Goodson to the Jets via free agency this offseason, the Raiders have a need for a reliable backup behind Darren McFadden, who has yet to play in all 16 games during his five seasons in NFL.
The Bengals, on the other hand, have been looking for a speed back to compliment BenJarvus Green-Ellis. Scott fits that bill, as he posted a 4.44 forty time at the 2009 Draft Combine, but he too has dealt with his share of injuries.
