My Sports Rumors:
Minnesota Vikings receiver Bernard Berrian went unclaimed on waivers, which means he’s now a free agent. It also means the Vikings are now on the hook for the rest of his salary. That salary is most likely why no team claimed him, whatever team is actually interested can now get away with the veteran minimum.
@AdamSchefter: Former Vikings WR Bernard Berrian went unclaimed on waivers. Now a free agent.
The big question now is what team(s) will be interested in Berrian’s services. There’s got to be a playoff contender out there with a need for a solid receiver right?? All I can tell you right now is that one team has removed themselves from consideration.
@vxmcclure23: Jerry Angelo doesn’t want to bring back Bernard Berrian and take reps from others, he told the team Web site.
Sorry to all you Chicago Bears fans that thought you just had is already over. To be truthful though I have no idea what team actually does have interest. His 2011 has been so dreadful that I’m not sure if any team is blowing his agents phone up.
