Thanks to a dominating performance by Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings Offense, the Vikes CRUSHED the New York Giants 44-7 at Metrodome. The game was over by halftime.Favre threw four touchdown passes (three in the first half) and was 25 of 31 for 316 yards. Favre and the Vikes O looked like a machine. Sidney Rice had six catches for 112 yards including two touchdowns. Visanthe Shiancoe had seven receptions for 94 yards including a 10 yard touchdown on the Vikes first drive.Adrian Peterson played a limited role and only had 54 yards on nine carries including a touchdown.The Vikes defense played well too. Pat Williams played and Antoine Winfield played also, but in a reduced role. Jared Allen had sack, forced fumble and fumble recovery all on the same play.
