With the NFL Playoffs getting set to kick off on Saturday, there is no better time to look at the best Wild Card Playoff Games taking place on Saturday and Sunday. Each day offers a game that should have great 4th quarter drama. Best Game on Wild-Card Saturday After last week’s thrilling regular season finale in Minnesota, the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings will be at it again, but this time it will be in the first round of the playoffs. Last week against the Packers, the Vikings needed a Blair Walsh field goal at the end of regulation just to make the playoffs. The winning Walsh Field Goal gave the Vikings a 37-34 win. This weekend, the game, which will be on NBC at 8 p.m., will be at chilly Lambeau Field in Wisconsin instead of indoors at the Mall of America Field in Minnesota. After just falling short by just nine yards of breaking Eric Dickerson’s single season all-time rushing record of 2,105 yards, Adrian Peterson will look to lead his Viking squad to two straight wins over the Packers. Green Bay is dominant at home with a record of 7-1 at the frozen tundra. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is having another outstanding season, throwing 39 touchdown passes and only 8 interceptions. Rodgers also threw for 4,295 yards in the regular season. Even with Adrian Peterson who is one of the greatest running backs in NFL history, the Packers should get revenge on the Vikings due to their dominance at Lambeau Field and because of their superb quarterback. The Packers will win this one by a score of 31-27.   Best Game on Wild-card Sunday The 2012 NFL season was the Year of the Rookie Quarterback and 3 out of the 4 teams playing on Wild-card Sunday will start rookie quarterbacks. The first game will have No.1 Overall Draft Pick Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts facing a tough Baltimore Ravens defense and then the second game will pit Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks against Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins. The Seahawks will travel to the nation’s capital to take on Griffin III and the NFC East champion Redskins in the final Wild Card game, which will be at 4:30 p.m. on FOX. It will be the first meeting the two teams this season. The Redskins enter the game with a home record of 5-3 and the Seahawks have a road record of 3-5. Washington also has a rookie starting at running back with Alfred Morris who had 13 rushing touchdowns during the regular season. Griffin III threw for 20 touchdowns and rushed for 7 more during the regular season. Wilson also has been a dual-threat quarterback this season with 26 throwing touchdowns and 4 rushing touchdowns for a total of 30 touchdowns. This should be a great quarterback battle that should be won by Griffin III and the Redskins by a score of 34-31.
